Wonderful unusual antique hound head hunting whistle. He has two glass eyes and is rather large. He looks to be made of some kind of antler or horn rather than ivory- you can see this near the fipple. Circa 1880s. The fipple and the dog's collar are gold.

Has some hairline cracks but is in good condition for his age.

No longer makes a sound when blown.
