Vintage set of seven Hunting Dog Jacket Buttons in an attractive original purple velvet box. They appear unused. The underside of the velvet mount has a circular label - 'The London Badge And Button Co Limited' Irthlingborough Northamptonshire. tel: Wellingborough 650801. From the phone no above that is on the label I would date these buttons to the 1970s.

The London Badge & Button Company Limited was started by Mr. Keith Riddle on 10th December 1973.

The seven buttons bear the same motif - a hunting dog in a landscape. Made from a gilt metal. These buttons were probably designed for a Hunting Jacket.

Excellent condition/unused.

Measures - box - 4" x 3.25" x 1.25",  3 buttons @ 7/8" diameter, 4 buttons @ 5/8" diameter.
