This is one of my favorites - being a thing within a thing. This little pug dog opens up to reveal two more pug heads (which are pipe heads) and a pipe stem!

Made for the Victorians as novelty gifts when they were traveling on their Grand Tour of Europe. I have never come across one of these before, it is quite rare.

These items were usually made from Linden wood so I am guessing this is made from Linden (Lime). 
 
For any tobacco /grass smokers out there you will really be seeing things if you smoke with this!

In excellent condition. Very unusual.
